MAIL CALL

The mail lady was nice this week. I finally received my free Remedy magazine subscription this week. I also received the Light and Easy recipe booklet, Eat Better America recipes and coupon booklet, the Pillsbury recipes with coupons and Lactaid samples. Sounds like someone wants me to cook! I am still waiting on mascara samples and my free Self magazine subscription I ordered back in November. :(

A Special Recipe Coming soon!

My husband has been reading my blog and wanted to know why I haven't included his Pound cake recipe. Every year we, or normally my daughter cook about 25 pound cakes for Christmas presents for neighbors and friends. So just wanted to let everyone know, hubby is going to allow me to post his secret recipe, look for it soon!

Recipe of the day!

This recipe is super easy with items you probably already have on hand. The wonderful part is the recipe only consist of 4 ingredients. Also a good recipe to cook with kids. My family loves it! Enjoy. Dump Cake 1 (20 oz) can of crushed pineapple ( do not drain) 1 can of cherry pie filling 1 box of yellow cake mix or white 2 sticks of butter cut in to pats Pre heat oven to 350. In a 13 x 9 pan, dump the crushed pineapple and cherry pie filling into the pan. Mix slightly with a spoon. Then sprinkle dry cake mix on the top of that. Spread pats of butter over the cake mix. Bake at 350 for about 45 mins or until top is brown. Enjoy!!
