Easy Chicken Bake

My hubby found a recipe he is wanting to try. This recipe was found in Family Circle (March 09 issue). This sounds like a cost effective dinner. Most of the ingredients I already have on hand. Thank you Family Circle! Easy Chicken Bake 1 pkg of Stove Top stuffing mix for Chicken 1-1/2 pounds of chicken breast, cut into 1 inch pieces 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 1/3 cup sour cream 1 bag of frozen mixed veggies Preheat 400 Prepare stuffing mix as directed on package, set this aside. Mix chicken, soup, sour cream adn veggies in a 13 x 9 inch dish, top with stuffing, Bake for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. I will be sure to let you know how my family likes this new dish!

Colcannon Irish Mashed Potatoes

Two years ago I found this recipe on the Internet on Cooks.com. Please Enjoy! IRISH SMASHED POTATOES (Colcannon) Ingredients : 2 cups Green cabbage shredded 2 cups Mashed potatoes 1/4 cup Green onions sliced 1/8 tsp Pepper and butter or margarine Parsley Heat 1/2-inch water to boiling. Stir in cabbage, cover and heat to boiling. Cook 5 minutes, drain. Prepare mashed potatoes, fold in cabbage, onions and pepper. Dot with butter, sprinkle with parsley. Serves 4.

Weeding

Well I have started. I now have the beds cleaned out. See pictures above. Still have a long way to go, but this is a good start! Enjoy! I hope to keep everyone updated as seeds come up and we all watch and hope the cold and frost didn't get my perennials. My perennials have been coming up now for the past 10 years. Soon Canna's , iris, peonies and other plants will be up. Its nice to share how my garden grows with others, this will make me keep the weeds out, since I am sharing pictures! Coming soon Veggies!
