2 cans biscuits (any brand -10 count)
1 bag of Chocolate hershey's kisses
Melted butter
Mixture of 3 parts sugar and 1 part cinnamon

Spilt biscuits in half. Unwrap 40 kisses. Wrap each Kiss with a biscuit half and roll in to a ball. Dip each ball into melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar. Drop balls into Bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees for
20-25 mins.

Members of Congress are trying to do the right thing by going after pirates and counterfeiters but SOPA and PIPA are the wrong way to do it.

1. SOPA and PIPA would censor the Web

The U.S. government could order the blocking of sites using methods similar to those employed by China. Among other things, search engines could be forced to delete entire websites from their search results. That’s why 41 human rights organizations and 110 prominent law professors have expressed grave concerns about the bills.

2. SOPA and PIPA would be job-killers because they would create a new era of uncertainty for American business

Law-abiding U.S. internet companies would have to monitor everything users link to or upload or face the risk of time-consuming litigation. That’s why AOL, EBay, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Mozilla, Twitter, Yahoo and Zynga wrote a letter to Congress saying these bills “pose a serious risk to our industry’s continued track record of innovation and job-creation.” It’s also why 55 of America’s most successful venture capitalists expressed concern that PIPA “would stifle investment in Internet services, throttle innovation, and hurt American competitiveness”. More than 204 entrepreneurs told Congress that PIPA and SOPA would “hurt economic growth and chill innovation”.

3. SOPA and PIPA wouldn’t stop piracy

To make matters worse, SOPA and PIPA won’t even work. The censorship regulations written into these bills won’t shut down pirate sites. These sites will just change their addresses and continue their criminal activities, while law-abiding companies will suffer high penalties for breaches they can’t possibly control.

There are effective ways to combat foreign “rogue” websites dedicated to copyright infringement and trademark counterfeiting, while preserving the innovation and dynamism that have made the Internet such an important driver of American economic growth and job creation. Congress should consider alternatives like the OPEN Act, which takes targeted and focused steps to cut off the money supply from foreign pirate sites without making US companies censor the Web.

Recently I noticed a young girl at work with the cutest bag. It was large, had from the looks of it several compartments and it was cotton with a black and white design.

To me this looked perfect! I love big bags, but I hate how you reach in and everything is all bunched down in the bottom of the purse. Organization this I love. Now I may not be the most organized person, but oh how I would love to be!!

To have a purse with a place for your keys, make up, wallet and coupons and of course a few odds and ends you have too have at all times with you. You know how it goes you never know when you may need it!

I hate admit but yes I have been "that" woman who has almost had to empty her huge bag looking for car keys only to find things I really needed last month but had no idea where to start looking for them.

So as I was walking the patient up front to check her out, I remarked how pretty her purse was. Really I was jealous that another woman had a purse that she could organize her life in and yes I wanted to be organized too!

My daughter now carries my ATM card around with her when we shop because I can never find mine when we check out. Don't ask me how but it always seems to be at the bottom of my purse and yes I know it should go directly in my wallet when I am finished using it!

Well I was very surprised when this nice organized young woman told me her bag was a diaper bag! It didnt look like one. It was very fashionable. Then she told me she didnt even have any children! She just liked it because it was big and had a lot of compartments!

When I got home it was right to the internet I went to find me a diaper bag! My husband thought I was crazy! I can see that, I mean we are empty nesters now and a daughter who is in college so we have no babies!

Take a look what I found. It was amazing! I have decided the next purse might just be a diaper bag!!

teaspoon McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract

large Granny Smith apple, peeled, diced

teaspoon McCormick® Ground Cinnamon

cup Fisher® Chef’s Naturals® Chopped Pecans

Garnish, if desired

McCormick® Cinnamon Sticks

fresh mint sprigs

1Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 8 (10-oz) ramekins or custard cups with Crisco® No-Stick Cooking Spray with Flour. Place each roll, cinnamon topping up, into ramekin. Reserve icing. Place ramekins in large baking pan with sides.2Bake 11 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.3Meanwhile, reserve 1/3 cup white chips for topping. To make custard, in 2-quart saucepan, combine remaining baking chips, half-and-half, vanilla and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, or until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat; cool 5 minutes. Beat eggs into custard with wire whisk until blended.4Pour approximately 1/2 cup custard over each baked cinnamon roll. Let stand 10 minutes. Evenly top ramekins with remaining custard.5Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes or until eggs are starting to set.6Meanwhile, in medium bowl, stir together reserved icing, diced apple, ground cinnamon, pecans and reserved 1/3 cup white chips.7Spoon about 1/4 cup apple mixture over each cinnamon roll. Bake an additional 15 to 18 minutes or until filling has set and apples are tender. Remove from oven; let stand 15 minutes. Garnish bread puddings with whipped cream, cinnamon stick and sprig of mint. Serve warm.

It's friday! Glad to have a end the work week, its been a long one, even if I do only work 4 10 hour shifts!
Today I am ready for more southern comfort food! What about you? Are you ready to start your weekend off with some relaxation and some home cook southern comfort food?

Let's start off with Angel Biscuit's then finish up with a Pork Chop casserole.

5 cup plain flour
1/4 cup sugar
3 Tbsp Baking powder
1/4 cup warm water and 1 tsp sugar
1 pkg yeast
1 tsp soda
2 cup buttermilk
1 cup crisco

Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in crisco. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add with buttermilk to flour and crisco mixture. Mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour. Use hands, turn out into a floured cutting board. Roll 1/4 inch thick and brush with melted butter. -cut out with biscuit cutter and fold over. Place on greased baking sheet. Let rise for about three hours. Cook at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.

Pork Chops

6 pork chops
2/3 cup uncooked rice
1 cup water
1 cup of whole kernel corn
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can tomatoes
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Brown pork chops. Drain grease. Lift out of pan. Spread rice over bottom of skillet. Add water. Sprinkle with 1 tsp of salt. Arrange chops over the rice. Sprinkle with the 1 tsp of salt. Add onion and tomatoes. Spoon on the corn. Sprinkle with black pepper. Cover and simmer 25-30 minutes or until the rice is tender. Add a small amount of water should mixture cook dry. Serves 6.

2: medium stalks celery, cut into 1-inch pieces (1 1/2 cups)

2: cloves garlic, finely chopped

1: medium onion, coarsely chopped (1 1/2 cups)

1/4: teaspoon pepper

1: can (19 ounces) Progresso® cannellini (white kidney) beans, rinsed and drained

1: can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes in puree, undrained

1: jar (12 ounces) beef gravy

2: teaspoons Italian seasoning

1: teaspoon sugar

cups Green giant® frozen cut green beans (from 1-pound bag)

1Place beef, beef base, carrots, celery, garlic, onion, pepper, kidney beans, tomatoes and gravy in order listed in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.
2Cover and cook on low heat setting 10 to 12 hours.
3Stir in Italian seasoning, sugar and frozen green beans. Increase heat setting to high. Cover and cook 15 minutes or until green beans are tender.

When the weather gets "yucky" outside, its time for winter comfort food! Here is a favorite. Hope everyone is having a good day! It's almost Friday!

Meat Loaf and Topping

2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
3/4 cups water
2 eggs
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/3 cup ketchup
2 Tbsp bell pepper

Topping:

1 8 oz can tomato sauce
3 Tbsp brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine all ingredients and form into a loaf. Pour topping over the meat. Bake 45 to 50 minutes.

Fried Green Tomatoes

Ripe or green tomatoes may be fried. Cut in slices and dust each side with salt, pepper, and flour. Brown tomatoes on both sides in a hot buttered frying pan. Drop bits of butter between slices and cook very slowly until tender. Serve hot.

This time of the year I am always looking for really good and easy soup recipes. This is a great fast one that you need to try. It's from Pillsbury!

cups Progresso® chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)

1/2

cup Old El Paso® Thick 'n Chunky salsa

cup shredded deli rotisserie chicken

1/3

cup crushed tortilla chips

1/2

medium avocado, pitted, peeled and chopped

3/4

cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (3 oz)

tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

Lime wedges, if desired

DIRECTIONS

1In 2-quart saucepan, heat broth, salsa and chicken to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.2Meanwhile, divide crushed chips among 3 serving bowls. Spoon hot soup over chips, then top with avocado, cheese and cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.

Adjust the heat level to individual tastes by choosing mild or medium salsa.

Shredded corn tortillas commonly used to thicken Mexican soups are the inspiration for the crushed tortilla chip garnish.

Cheesecakes

12: foil baking cups

12: thin chocolate wafer cookies (from 9-oz package), crushed (2/3 cup)

12: oz 1/3-less-fat cream cheese (Neufchâtel), softened

2/3: cup sugar

2: teaspoons vanilla

1/4: cup unsweetened baking cocoa

1: whole egg

1: egg white

1: oz bittersweet or semisweet baking chocolate, melted

Topping

1/3: cup fat-free hot fudge topping

: Fresh raspberries, if desired

1Heat oven to 325°F. Place foil baking cup in each of 12 regular-size muffin cups. With back of spoon, firmly press slightly less than 1 tablespoon cookie crumbs in bottom of each foil cup.
2In large bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Beat in sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Beat in cocoa. Beat in whole egg and egg white until well blended. Stir in melted chocolate. Divide cheese mixture evenly among crumb-lined foil cups.
3Bake 28 to 32 minutes or until set. Cool in pan on cooling rack 15 minutes. Remove cheesecakes from pan; cool 15 minutes longer. Refrigerate about 1 hour or until chilled.
4To serve, carefully remove foil baking cups. Spread fudge topping on cheesecakes. Garnish with raspberries. Store cheesecakes covered in refrigerator.

I am back for another new year of blogging!! I hope everyone is ready for the new year and I wish everyone a blessed wonderful year ahead of us. Looking forward to sharing some great frugal deals, southern recipes and a lot of freebies! Also I want to open up more articles about new products!

My new year's resolution is to see how much money I can save using coupons. I swear I am going to actually try keep up my coupons up to date in my coupon folder and not get to the store and only find expired coupons or have my bag of uncut coupons with me and then finding myself on the CVS floor sorting coupons to find a great buy!! Gosh I can't believe I have admitted that, but as the year went on I was finding myself more disorganized, this year more Organization!! I am even thinking of changing my way of keeping up with my coupons! Well I am need to get started by going and buying my usual 3-4 papers. Yes.... I am cutting and filing them today! ANY suggestions of how you organize would great!

S'mores cookie ball pops

18 HONEY MAID Honey Grahams, divided

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

2 Tbsp. sugar

1/2 tsp. vanilla

16 JET-PUFFED Marshmallows

6 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1 pkg. (6 squares) BAKER'S White Chocolate

CHOP 6 grahams coarsely; set aside. Finely crush remaining grahams; mix with cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended. Use 2 Tbsp. of the cream cheese mixture to evenly coat each marshmallow. (Coating will be thin.)

MICROWAVE semi-sweet and white chocolate squares in same microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until chocolates are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring every 30 sec.

DIP 1 lollipop stick about 1/2-inch deep in chocolate; insert chocolate-covered end into center of 1 coated marshmallow. Repeat with remaining marshmallows. Dip 1 marshmallow in remaining melted chocolate; shake gently to allow excess chocolate to drip back into bowl. Dip marshmallow in chopped grahams, turning to coat bottom and part-way of side of each. Place in shallow waxed paper-lined pan. Repeat with remaining marshmallows.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

36 OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 3 cups)

2 pkg. (8 squares each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted.

MIX cream cheese and cookie crumbs until well blended.

SHAPE into 48 (1-inch) balls. Freeze 10 min. Dip balls in melted chocolate; place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.

GIFT-GIVING

Pack these delicious cookie balls in small containers. Then, add a colorful bow and gift tag to each container and you've got the perfect holiday or hostess gift.

SPECIAL EXTRA

Sprinkle cookie balls with additional cookie crumbs.

HOW TO EASILY DIP COOKIE BALLS

To easily coat cookie balls with the melted chocolate, add cookie balls, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Use 2 forks to roll cookie balls in chocolate until evenly coated. 1Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, stir cookie ingredients until soft dough forms. Refrigerate 1 hour.
2On generously floured surface, roll dough 1/8 inch thick. Cut with 3-inch star-shaped cookie cutter. Reroll and cut remaining dough. On ungreased cookie sheets, place cutouts 1 inch apart.
3Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until edges are set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
4In small bowl, stir 2 tablespoons of the milk, the orange liqueur and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in orange peel. Add additional milk 1 teaspoon at a time to desired consistency. Spread over cookies, sprinkle with edible glitter.

1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix

1/4 tsp. green food coloring

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

16 peppermint sticks (3 inch)

1/2 cup BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut

2 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped

1/4 cup PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts, chopped

Assorted Christmas candy

Colored sugar

HEAT oven to 350°F.

PREPARE cake batter as directed on package; tint with food coloring. Pour evenly into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round pans.

BAKE as directed on package. Cool in pans 10 min.; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

BEAT cream cheese and powdered sugar with mixer until well blended. Stir in COOL WHIP with whisk. Spread onto tops and sides of cakes.

CUT each cake into 8 wedges to resemble Christmas trees. Insert peppermint stick into curved side of each cake for the tree trunk. Decorate with remaining ingredients
