Merry Christmas to all my Blogging friends! I hope everyone is able to be with family and friends during this holiday season. I know this is a busy holiday season, what with shopping, fighting crowds, waiting on parking spots and constant baking, (my favorite)  but lets not forget the real reason for the holiday! Let's keep Christ in Christmas! Remember to keep our military in your prayers.  I love Christmas! It's such a magical season. If you can, I try but it does not always happen, but try to slow down and enjoy time with friends and family and just enjoy the wonderful smells of Christmas. My Christmas wish for you is to have a very memorable Christmas. Merry Christmas.

I am really missing all my blogging buddies, so I just had to hop online to let you know I will be back on Dec 1st hopefully all well.  Well it was offical I was going crazy. I had been stuck in the house for the past few days with walking pneumonia, I was itching to get out, so I grabbed my new free coupon for a free bottle of Advil and headed to CVS. Maybe my hubby could have mentioned my shirt had a soup stain on it from  the soup I had eaten earlier. Have I ever mentioned I am a choco-ohlic?? When I went into the store I scanned my CVS card and out pops out a $1 coupon for 2 bags of  chocolate that was on sale for 2/$4, with twinkling eyes I grabbed the bags, picked up an 8 pack of snickers on sale for  .77c  for hubby for good measure ( I couldnt go home without him something, of course you know I am going to tell him I have two large bags for myself..... not  lol) . Then I made a dash for a gallon of skim milk ( yeah its a woman thing who buys a snicker bar and a diet coke... but let us not forget, Milk i...

Fall has arrived! The leaves are changing to oranges, yellow and red, plus here in Alabama the hot humid days are disappearing. When I think of fall I think of Comfort food, the foods that make us all feel warm and cozy inside and out. Here is recipe I love to make from Bisquick! Hearty Chicken Pot Pie 1 package (16 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed 1 cup cut-up cooked chicken 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup 1 cup Original Bisquick® mix 1/2 cup milk 1 egg Enjoy!! Go take a fall walk I am sure you will enjoy it!

Hey sorry I have been missing in action lately. My desktop computer is so slow and my daughter took her Lap top back to school, so please bare with my while I try to speed this desk top up!! Grilling Its still time to grill, although summer is almost over and I can smell fall in the air, even if its still in the 90-100 degree's grilling time is still here. Here is a great recipe if you like spices! Red Hot Potatoes and Corn 4 large potatoes, cut into wedges 2 ears of corn, cleaned, cut in half 2 medium onions, peeled, sliced 1 cup hickory-flavored BBQ sauce 1/4 cup butter or margarine, sliced into 8 pieces 1/4 up tabasco green jalapeno sauce 1 large foil cooking bag Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, stir ito coat, Transfer ingredients to foil bag and seal edge tightly. Place on grill and cover, turning every 10 minutes. Remove when potoates are soft, about 20 minutes. Serve with additional jalapeno and BBQ sauce. This will make about 4 s...
