- 2 (pound) shrimp, peeled and deviened
- 3 (clove) garlic, minced
- 1 (tablespoon) dried basil
- 1 (16.0 ounce package) whole wheat pasta
- 2 (cup) roma tomatoes, chopped
- 2 (tablespoon) olive oil
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside. Meanwhile, saute the shrimp with garlic in olive oil until they lose their transparency, about 2-3 minutes depending on size.
- Add basil and tomatoes, and simmer 5 more minutes.
- Serve warm over pasta.
