Easy Chicken Pot Pie

Nothing can beat good comfort food, and for the past couple of days I have had a terrible head Cold! Cold's are rough enough to recover from, sometimes you just need a boost to make you feel almost human again and that is where comfort food comes in!

 After looking around in the kitchen, I found my comfort food to make!! It's easy and quick to make! Plus you probably already have all the ingredients, so you will not have to get dressed and drive to the dreaded store! Enjoy!

Chicken Pot Pie

1 package of frozen mixed veggies, any kind will do. 

1 can of cream of chicken soup

1 can of chicken broth

1 package of chicken tenders, chopped into small pieces

salt and pepper to taste

1 can crescent rolls, for your crust

On the top of the stove top, in a fry pan, add one can of chicken broth, frozen veggies, cream of chicken soup and chopped chicken. 

 Cook about 15 mins or until the chicken is done . Preheat oven to 350.

Pour mixture into a casserole dish and top with crescent rolls, rolling out to cover the entire top of the casserole. Cook 15-20 minutes or till crust is a light golden brown .
